Our Process

We understand that receiving your items quickly and safely is a crucial part of shopping online. As of this, we want to explain how things work at Golfbase so you can buy with confidence. The most important thing to note is that if anything goes wrong, we will do everything in our power to redeem the situation and make sure that our customers are always left happy.

Our team work very hard to make sure your items are packed and out the door as quickly and securely as possible. UK Orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) will leave us that day. If you need your items quickly please read our upgrades section and act accordingly. Orders after 3pm will not be dealt with until the next working day.

UK Delivery Services and Delivery Times - EASTER 2022

Royal Mail 2nd Class - Free 

We offer free shipping on a Royal Mail 2nd Class delivery service, which will usually arrive within 2-3 business days.

Royal Mail Tracked 48® - £2.99 (Free on orders over £80).

A tracked delivery service which the Royal Mail should deliver within 2-3 business days.

Royal Mail Tracked 24® - £3.99 (Free on orders over £200).

The fastest Royal Mail service, which should arrive within 1-2 business days.

DPD Local Next Business Day - £5.99 (£1.99 on orders over £200, Monday - Friday delivery)

DPD aim to deliver a parcel on this service on the next business day from dispatch.

Regrettably these services may vary, depending on the time of day in which the order is placed. If you checkout with upgraded shipping before 3pm, the chosen upgrade will be applied and your items will leave us the same day (excluding Holidays, Weekends and sometimes Mondays in busy periods - Please call us if you require urgent action). Orders after 3pm will not be dealt with until the next working day. 

Example: Choosing a Next Business Day upgrade on a Friday before 3pm would be a scheduled delivery for Monday and after 3pm means your order will not be dealt with until the following Monday, with delivery scheduled for Tuesday.

The Royal Mail state the following on their website - Tracked 48 aims to deliver your parcel in 2 to 3 working days. Tracked 24 aims to deliver your parcel in 1 to 2 working days, with an aim to deliver on the next working day.

Delivery times are for UK Mainland Customers only. This excludes Northern Ireland, Highlands, Isle of Man and Channel Islands, general UK Islands where delivery times may increase, typically by 1 working day. Please read our 'UK Exception' section for more information.

EASTER 2022 - Any order placed between 15:00 on Wednesday 13th April and 15:00 Thursday 14th April is unlikely to arrive before Tuesday 19th April, at the earliest, due to the Bank Holiday Weekend.

Any order placed after 15:00 on Thursday 14th April will be dispatched on Tuesday 19th April.

Royal Mail 2nd Class serviced deliveries averagely take 2-3 working days to arrive to a UK address. This is a non-recorded, free shipping service which we use for all standard deliveries. Please note Royal Mail state that this delivery service can take up to (and including) 7 working days to arrive and it is not before that date that any items can be deemed lost in the post.

This service would pass the shipment to your local postal service, who aim to deliver within 3-7 business days.

Rest of the World

Royal Mail Tracked & Signed® 

To the rest of the world, we ship our products on a Tracked & Signed service with the Royal Mail, which should arrive within 7-10 business days.

How do I change or cancel my order?

Please Contact Us as soon as you know something is wrong with your order. Before we can do anything, we will also need your Order ID - please have this available before you make contact. If the item has not been dispatched, we can attempt to cancel the order and refund you in full back to the way in which you paid. Unfortunately, this is not always possible. If the item has already left our building it is too late to cancel, but please note that we offer free returns on most of our items so you will be refunded in full (excluding certain items). We recommend reading our returns exclusions section to see what items are non returnable for free.

UK Exception Post Codes

Please note that some areas within the UK may not be eligible for our standard Royal Mail or DPD services. In these circumstances we will contact you with options of other postage methods. Sadly, some of these options may require an upgrade in service resulting in extra payments from the customer. Please note that you can of course cancel your purchase if this does not suit you. We apologise in advance for this and hope you understand that we try to pick the best possible value and fastest service available from our possible couriers. Contact us prior to placing your order if you are in anyway hesitant about deliveries in your area.

International Shipping

Europe: Items to European addresses take on average 5-8 working days depending on your location.

International: Items to the rest of the world including Australia and the USA take 7-12 working days on average. Please note Royal Mail state that this delivery service can take up to (and including) 25 working days to arrive. If you do not have your goods before this time frame we can deem the item's lost in the post and you will be refunded in full. Please be aware you may be charged for import duty.

You've shipped my item but It hasn't arrived!

If you have received an email from us telling you we have sent your item, any subsequently failed deliveries are sadly not our fault, but we will work actively to resolve the issue quickly and smoothly for you. We appreciate your frustration in these scenarios but kindly ask for your patience and cooperation while we fix the situation.

Before taking further action, have you considered the following?

  • Has it been at least 15 working days since you received shipping confirmation from us?
  • Is the item held at your local Royal Mail collection office?
  • Is it or has it been a bank holiday weekend?
  • Are your shipping details correct?
  • Are you situated in a UK exception postal area?
